Lafayette, Louisiana – January 8, 2010 – Today, Louisiana Wakeboarding kicked off an advertisement campaign for the annual water sports event, Louisiana Spring Fling. After facing various challenges from mother nature, school scheduling conflicts, graduation and poor weather conditions, Louisiana Wakeboarding made the decision to hold Spring Fling at a later time of the year. This change, in addition to changes to the web site and promotional materials, is expected to greatly the success of this event.

Louisiana Spring Fling will be held on the 10th-13th of June in the heart of Louisiana’s swampland. This family friendly event will cater to water sport enthusiasts, boat dealerships, and pro shops from across the country. “This weekend of wake will consist of great free riding, a double-up competition, rail jam, music, food and fun,” said Mike Parich of Louisiana Wakeboarding. This four day extravaganza has been uniting water lovers for the past 12 years; every year rewards new friends, a new appreciation for the water and new memories.

Louisiana Spring Fling 2010 will be held June 10th-13th. After several discussions, we’ve decided to hold the event in June to eliminate the conflict between finals, Mother’s Day, graduations, etc. More information on the event coming soon!
